Welcome to the South Central Science Learning Partnership (SLP).
Led by Mandy Quinton at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood, we work with schools within the West Herts, South Bucks, Slough, Maidenhead and Marlow areas. Our vision is to have excellent Teaching and Learning of Science throughout our SLP from early years through to A Level. Our aim is to provide a network for science teachers and technicians, allowing them to enhance their skills as professionals.
Science Learning Partnerships (SLPs) combine local expertise in teaching and learning in Science, facilitating high quality CPD through a range of full day or twilight sessions. We also work with schools on an individual basis to provide bespoke support to meet the differing needs of schools across the area.
The STEM Learning has a network of 50 Science Learning Partnerships delivering professional development at a local level across England. These SLPs are led by local teaching school alliances, schools and colleges with excellence in Science, higher education institutions, and other local partners with cutting-edge expertise in Science.
