Women into Leadership and Coaching Training

The Herts and Bucks Teaching School Alliance has provided both bespoke coaching and formal training to women aspiring to senior leadership positions since 2014. We actively support the Women into Leadership programme offered by The Alban Teaching School Alliance.

Research shows that women face particular issues when considering moving into leadership roles. This course helps women manage the challenges of maintaining a work / life balance and gain the confidence to apply and succeed in leadership roles in school.

Women in Leadership : Be the Change

The Women Leading in Education Coaching Pledge is already making a difference to hundreds of aspiring female leaders.  Our goal is to expand the pool of willing, trained coaches even further. The more coaches we have, the more women can be empowered to gain the leadership roles they deserve.

To help us achieve this goal together:

Sign up to be a coach and encourage others to do so. Anyone can be a coach (male, female, teacher, leader, support staff, governors, trustees - any phase, any level of experience) so please spread the word far and wide:

Join the conversation on Twitter.  Follow @bwteachschool and let us know how the Coaching Pledge is making a difference in your school or alliance.

Share the success. Fancy writing a guest blog about how coaching can make the difference? Brooke Weston will be publishing their own coaching blog written by guest blogger Carly Waterman. Please retweet and share widely to raise the profile of coaching.

If you are interested in hosting coaching training sessions at your teaching school, let Brooke Weston know. Currently, we are providing fully funded training for everyone in their region who signs up as a coach.  You can find out about the next available dates here.
Thank you for helping us to make this important change.
