Joint 2019/20 Research Project - Interleaving in Practice
Interleaving in Practice
The Herts & Bucks Challenge Partners Hub
Joint 2019/20 Research Project
Interleaving is a process where students mix, or interleave, multiple subjects or topics while they study in order to improve their learning. Blocked practice, on the other hand, involves studying one topic very thoroughly before moving to another topic.
- Not only is interleaving seen as increasingly essential to teaching and learning by educational researchers, it is also showing positive results when applied in classrooms and when embedded in planning.
- The Herts & Bucks Challenge Partners Hub invites interested teachers, CPD leads and senior leaders to join our low intensity research and trial project through the academic year. These will include termly twilight sessions to share research, ideas and best practice.
- The first session will be on Wednesday 2nd October 2019 at The Reach Free School, Long Lane, Mill End, Rickmansworth WD3 8AB.
- Please email Andrew Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest or for more information.
