TSST Physics 2019 -2020

This course is specifically designed to develop the subject knowledge of qualified teachers who did not train as Physics teachers. It is also suitable for returning teachers who need to refresh their subject knowledge.

What are the benefits?

Schools will extend their staffing capacity through training more Physics teachers

Teachers will improve their subject knowledge through good pedagogic practice

Teachers will become more confident and prepared classroom practitioners

Teachers will be brought up-to-date with the latest content for the new curriculum at KS3 and KS4

All schools are struggling to recruit teachers of Physics. The TSST course is a government funded, FREE school-led professional development opportunity.

Your facilitator will be a former Head of Physics, a current SLE, an experienced classroom practitioner and a Lead Facilitator for STEM Learning who has a record of teaching excellent Physics.

The programme includes five full days training, access to a mentor, gap tasks, lesson observations, practical demonstrations, themed focus areas, lots of relevant resources and a certificate on completion.

All sessions take place at St Clement Danes School, Chorleywood WD3 6EW.

Our Physics TSST programme has been accredited by the Institute of Physics.
