Sign up now for DfE-funded CPD programme for early career teachers!
Time is running out to register for Accelerate; a brand-new professional development programme tailor-made for those in the first five years of their teaching career. The programme will provide teachers with the tools and support they need to fast-track their teaching skills. It is designed to help improve pupil attainment and keep talented teachers within the profession.
Accelerate is being led by the Education Development Trust in partnership with the Chartered College of Teaching and is being funded by the DfE’s Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund. It will run over four terms, starting early spring 2019 and uses a flexible blended learning approach including a residential training event, local workshops, expert instructional coaching, in-school mentoring and online training materials, tailored to different subject areas and phases.
If you are in the first 5 years of your teaching career and are in an eligible school (Ofsted graded 3 or 4 or are in a DfE-identified ‘opportunity’ or ‘priority’ area) register today. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on first come first served basis after eligibility. Find out more and register at accelerate-teaching.co.uk
