How to Apply
Applications can be made online from 13th October 2020 through UCAS
The closing date for applications is 30th June 2021.
Once registered on UCAS, you will need to complete the application form and include contact details for two referees.
The first time you apply, you will be able to select three choices. This process is called ‘Apply 1’. If you are unsuccessful from all three choices (which includes if you withdraw from them) then you are free to apply again but only one choice at a time now. This process is called ‘Apply 2’.
When selecting your course choices you will need to enter the provider name, the subject, specific course code and then select your host school.
ENTERING OUR PROVIDER NAME
UCAS will ask you who the ‘provider’ is. It will either be Parmiters School or Challoners High Bucks Hub. Both are part of the Herts & Bucks Teaching School Alliance.
ENTERING THE SUBJECT
UCAS will ask you to enter the subject you wish to train in. Choose ‘Primary’ or ‘Primary with Maths’, etc.
SELECTING THE SCHOOL
Once you have selected the course, you can select the school from a drop-down list.
